This site includes books, video links and websites documenting the life and accomplishments of Martin Luther King, Jr.

Teachers and students, grades kindergarten-4th, will find this a resourceful and enriching site for their curriculum. I have included several books all dealing with King's life and legacy. It is important to offer many different titles when developing a unit.

I have taught kindergarten, 1st and 3rd grade and have used most of the included resources in my curriculum.

Timeline of Events in Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Life

Louisiana State University developed this website. It is a chronological life-line of King's life. It list all major events starting at his birth in 1929 to his death in 1968. There are links to websites for the people and places listed in the timeline.
